Ohio bird feeder camera captures hilarious photos of wild animals grabbing a late night snack: See it

A homeowner was shocked to find an unusual creature visiting his backyard bird feeder in the middle of the night.

Danae Wolfe set up a bird feeder with a recording device in her backyard in Worcester, Ohio. She and her family have made it a welcoming place for wildlife for the past eight years.

The 36-year-old author and photographer told SWNS she installed the bird feeder after receiving it from the brand for a social media review.

But the wildlife lover was shocked to find other animals stopping by for a midnight snack.

“We enjoyed watching the birds visit that first afternoon, and later that evening our camera captured a cheeky raccoon stopping by for a midnight snack,” she said.

She added, “The raccoon actually knocked the camera off the tree stand, but the camera continued to record throughout the night as the raccoon, deer, and skunk stopped by for snacks.”

Quiz: Name the bird! Can you match these beautiful birds with the correct name?

Since then, pairs of squirrels and turkeys have started visiting the feeder for a quick bite or two, Wolf said.

“We’ve had as many as four raccoons every night. We’ve also counted 11 or 12 skunks that visit regularly at night,” she said.
