Ohio Democrats are aiming to issue a statement in favor of killing the fetus through abortion by introducing “contraceptive methods begin with the construction law.”
The bill introduced by Democratic state lawmakers Anita Somani and Tristan Rader makes it illegal for men to have sex without trying to create a child. It has been reported. The bill is modelled on a similar law introduced by Democratic Mississippi Sen. Bradford Blackmon.
“Fair is fair, right?” Somani said in a video posted to Blueski. “If this council is very dedicated to regulating women's bodies and access to birth control and abortion, let's start male police in the same way. After all, tango is 2 It'll take a while, right?”
“Our bill would make it illegal to discharge semen or genetic material without fertilizing the embryo,” she continued.
“If you find the language, you can [in the bill] Because of it being ridiculous, maybe you should find a bill that attempts to limit your freedom of breeding to absurdity,” Radar added.
The bill is expected to make exceptions for birth control pills, and for people who say they are LGBTQ+, and for masturbation.
Penalties for breaking the law are $1,000 for the first offence, $5,000 for the second offence, and $10,000 for the further offence.
Republicans remain in control of Ohio's governor, the House and Senate, so the bill is unlikely to gain traction. However, the Ohioan passed an amendment in 2023, making abortion a state “right,” and the courts have since Break the law Limit abortion early in pregnancy and quote the passage of corrections.
Republican state lawmaker Ron Ferguson I said The state news station says the bill doesn't make sense and “doesn't completely touch on what's important to everyday Americans.”
“We're talking about conception that occurs before sperm fertilizes the egg. Obviously, someone doesn't understand simple biology,” Ferguson said.
