A FedEx delivery driver was assaulted by a package thief after stopping at his home in Columbus, Ohio, and the shocking incident was captured on a doorbell camera.
A TikTok creator named @by.nay.a uploaded a surprising video on Oct. 28 with the inside story of what happened.

In the video, an unsuspecting FedEx driver is approached from behind by another man and is dragged down the front steps and onto the ground.
The TikToker's brother then ran out the front door to try to break up the fight, but the thief made off with the package.
In the background, a car with two people can be seen parked directly behind a FedEx truck.
The TikToker explained that the driver was delivering a new cell phone package to his sister-in-law, and said he saw online that a gang of porch pirates had figured out how to target such deliveries using tracking numbers. Ta.
with follow up videothe influencer said, “From what I've gathered, it looks like they're getting the tracking numbers from somewhere… It seems like it's an inside job somewhere.”
She added that police were apparently able to identify the getaway vehicle's license plate and are actively searching for the porch pirates.
“Last I heard, the robbers are on the run,” she said, adding that she had also heard comments from other people who had their Apple Watches, iPads and other devices stolen by luggage thieves.
“It’s Christmas time and I don’t even want to think about what’s going on, so please stay safe.”
