Old video shows Aaron Rodgers sympathetic about Sandy Hook massacre

Aaron Rodgers’ sympathetic comments about the Sandy Hook shootings more than a decade ago were in stark contrast to his false beliefs about the 2012 massacre in Connecticut.

“I hope we learn from this and look for more signs so that something like this never happens again and keep this in mind. Or because it affects you indirectly.” Rodgers said on 540 ESPN Milwaukee, as heard in a video posted to Fox 6 Milwaukee’s YouTube channel in 2013.. “This is something we should learn.”

Mr. Rogers addressed those comments Thursday in his first public statement since taking office. CNN reported In a private conversation, Mr. Rogers said the 2012 shooting was not real.

“As I have previously gone on record, what happened at Sandy Hook was an utter tragedy. I am not of the opinion, nor have I ever thought, that the event should not have happened. there is no.” Rogers posted on X.

“Again, I hope we can learn from this and other tragedies and identify the warning signs to prevent unnecessary loss of life. My thoughts and prayers are with the Sandy Hook community. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the affected families.”

After CNN reported that Rodgers, a former Packers and current Jets quarterback, shared the hoax theory with at least two people, including Pamela Brown, one of the two authors of the CNN article. Mr. Rogers’ conviction regarding the Sandy Hook shootings became a national topic.

According to the outlet, Rogers told Brown in 2013 that the shooting was “actually an inside government job, and the media is deliberately ignoring it.”

When asked to provide evidence, Rodgers, who was in Green Bay at the time, allegedly shared a theory that CNN’s report has since been disproved.

A second source said Rogers claimed: “Sandy Hook never happened…all those kids never existed. They were all actors.”

Mr. Rogers said of his parents: They are all actors. ”

Rodgers has been in the news quite a bit this week, but that has nothing to do with his potential addition to the Jets’ offense during free agency.

The 40-year-old is also being considered as a running mate to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., but some have accused his government ambitions of being an attention-seeking ploy.
