Olivia Dunn’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit photo shoot was an unforgettable experience.
Reflecting on career highlights at this week’s On3 NIL Elite Series in Nashville, the LSU superstar gymnast reveals filming turned around quickly in January when the season just started Did.
“We went to Puerto Rico. It was right around the time the gymnastics season started. Normally, it takes six days to shoot, but obviously you can’t take six days off from the beginning of the season,” Dunn said. According to Outkick.
Once the coach gave her the go-ahead, she jetted to a scenic filming destination for a total of one day off.
“We prayed for good weather, then we shot and went back to school,” Dunn said.
The 20-year-old gymnast made her Swimsuit debut for Sports Illustrated in the 2023 issue, which was released last month.
Dunn was photographed by renowned photographer Ben Watts for a spread featuring the highest-paid female athletes in the NCAA. I model various swimsuits. Choose from brands like Sommer Swim, Deep Blue Bikini Co. and Gucci.
“It was a dream of mine to have the opportunity to wear SI Swimsuits, and when it came true, I couldn’t believe it.” Dan said to iconic publications.
A senior on the rise, Dan is a social media sensation with over 11 million followers across his Instagram and TikTok pages.


The New Jersey native also boasts a NIL valuation of $3.4 million. According to On3Following the 2021 NCAA rule changes, student-athletes can now benefit from their name, image and likeness.
Dan has had great success in the NIL field, but the subject is not often discussed with his LSU teammates.
“When I’m in the gym, I don’t talk about the NIL with my teammates at all, or at all. We talk about normal college stuff. When we’re in the locker room, it’s the usual locker room talk.” said Dan. Previously reported outkick.


“It’s never about brand deals. It’s never about NIL.”
That said, if a teammate asks for advice on potential opportunities, she’s more than welcome to discuss further with them.
“Sometimes one or two of my teammates come over and ask me for advice on it…but even then, we’ll talk more about it later,” she said.
Over the years, Dan has signed brand deals with a number of companies, including American Eagle and activewear label Vuori.
