Despite facing new challenges in coming to terms with her changing body, she remains grateful for the “opportunity to fight,” adding, “Whatever I look like now, I’m really satisfied.”

“When you actually rebuild it, it’s different, it’s much better, but it’s not the same,” she says. “That’s OK because I’m here and I’m so glad I had the option to have a double mastectomy.
“I’m very happy to have had the opportunity to fight. I was given that chance, but a lot of people in my situation don’t have that opportunity and don’t have that option. I know it”

She will soon begin filming the AppleTV+ show “Your Friends and Neighbors” with Jon Hamm, and said she plans to return to work as a “different version” of herself after her battle with cancer.
“I’ve become much more forgiving of myself,” she said. “And it’s really fun to go back to work without any questions in your head…When you’re acting, you really have to be in the moment.”
