The opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France, has attracted much criticism for mocking Christianity, specifically Leonardo da Vinci’s painting “The Last Supper.”

“In the Olympic painting, Jesus and the apostles have been replaced with an obese woman and a transgender person,” Liz says, “and if you look closely, there’s also a child in this sexual scene. And if you look really closely… there’s a man bending over a child exposing his genitals; his testicles, to be exact, are hanging down in full view.”
“There was also the image of the ‘Knight of Death’ from the Book of Revelation,” and “Snoop Dogg, who performed at the opening ceremony…” [wore] It’s a necklace with a devil on it.”
“this teeth “This is a spiritual warfare,” Liz declares. “This has never been about tolerance or inclusion. This is demons trying to force you to worship Satan.”
Following the backlash, some have claimed the performance was meant to represent the “Olympic Gods”, to which Liz responded, “No, that’s not true,” reading a tweet from @pedrogabwriter, who analysed the entire performance and found the exact moment that disproves this claim.
“Look at the 1:54:50 mark. See how the camera pans and how the different actors pose and fit into the frame. It is clearly reminiscent of Da Vinci’s depiction of the Last Supper. … Dionysius [Olympic gods] The motif only occurs at the 2:38:39 landmark.”
In response to the widespread negative reaction, the International Olympic Committee released the following statement:
“The International Olympic Committee, you are lying,” Liz said. “You didn’t apologize because you’re not sorry. We know it was deliberate bigotry against Christians in the name of the International Olympic Committee, which is a communist religion.”
After the opening ceremony, a “total power outage” occurred [where] “The city lost power,” and “later, the first gold medal of the Paris Games was won by American swimmer Katie Ledecky, a devout Catholic.”
Coincidence?
“Maybe so. Maybe not,” Liz says.
