Oncologist Who Previously Worked with Biden Claims He Must Have Had Cancer ‘During His Presidency’

Biden’s Cancer Diagnosis Raises Questions

On Monday, a noted oncologist, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, stated that former President Joe Biden likely has been dealing with prostate cancer for several years. Dr. Emanuel, who previously served on Biden’s Covid-19 Advisory Committee, suggested the cancer had likely progressed to an advanced stage. He emphasized that this isn’t mere speculation.

During an appearance on MSNBC, co-host Joe Scarborough questioned Dr. Emanuel about the possibility of Biden having had cancer during his presidency. Dr. Emanuel affirmed, “Yeah, he didn’t develop it for the last 100-200 days. He had it while he was president,” suggesting it may have begun in 2021, at the start of Biden’s term.

Furthermore, Dr. Emanuel indicated that Biden could have been battling cancer for many years—perhaps even a decade—saying, “I don’t think there’s any disagreement about that.”

This discussion arose after Biden’s office disclosed that he had been recently diagnosed with an “aggressive” form of prostate cancer. The 82-year-old former president sought medical attention for urinary symptoms, leading doctors to discover a “small nodule” in his prostate.

Dr. Emanuel expressed surprise over the lack of prior reporting on Biden’s condition, questioning why more proactive measures hadn’t been taken. He noted that the former vice president should have undergone a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test at least once during his terms.

“It’s a bit surprising that they didn’t do that,” he remarked. “Many men decide they don’t want a PSA, but this is also concerning.”

He elaborated on the seriousness of the condition, mentioning that a Gleason score, which indicates the aggressiveness of cancer on a scale from 2 to 10, could further illuminate the situation. “When we talk about the offensive part, a score of 9 means the cancer isn’t looking good,” he noted.

Dr. Emanuel also pointed out that former presidents, including Donald Trump, Barack Obama, and George W. Bush, underwent PSA testing while in office, suggesting that regular monitoring is crucial.

He concluded, “I don’t know what President Biden and his doctors discussed, but it’s noteworthy that previous presidents took this test routinely, especially given their public health concerns.”

Biden’s health situation continues to unfold, leaving many with questions about his past medical evaluations and the implications moving forward.
