The investigation into Liam Payne’s death reportedly uncovered that the star was on a bender at the time of his death.
Prosecutors have been looking into the role the famous singer’s friend, Roger Nores, may have played into his death, and they allege they have documents that show he was aware that Payne had fallen off his course of sobriety, according to TMZ. They claimed Payne sent messages to Nores the night before he died at approximately 10:00 pm requesting four bottles of whiskey, according to TMZ. They claim that on the morning of his death, at 6:46 am, the former One Direction star ordered 5 more bottles of whiskey.
He allegedly messaged Nores again at 7:00 am, writing, “Dude, I think I’m going to fuck a hooker,” according to documents viewed by TMZ. That was followed by a 9:32 am message that allegedly read, “Can you get 6 grams?”

Prosecutors claimed Nores and Payne met for breakfast and Payne consumed whiskey, according to TMZ. The maid attended the room they ate in and said it was trashed. Authorities said the maid claimed to have seen Payne frantically searching for something when he returned and eventually locating “a powder.”
Two prostitutes arrived at approximately 11:30 a.m., and allegedly told authorities they had sex with Payne. The prostitutes claimed Payne requested cocaine because he had run out and became enraged when they asked for their payment. They claimed he punched the television three times, the outlet reported.
Authorities said Payne approached a hotel employee at approximately 2:00 p.m. and said, “I’m gonna need another 7 grams for today,” according to TMZ.

The documents reviewed by TMZ claimed Nores returned to the hotel to pay the prostitutes at 3:45 p.m. Payne was allegedly. in a “visibly drunk” state with dilated pupils at approximately 4:00 p.m., according to a staffer.
Nores allegedly departed at 4:04 pm and texted “How are you?” to Payne around 4:25 p.m. but did not receive a reply, according to TMZ. A housekeeper reported hearing Payne breaking things in his room.
Three hotel workers grabbed Payne by the arms and legs and took him to his hotel room against his will just prior to his fall, TMZ reported, citing video the outlet obtained. Payne reentered the elevator after being carried up and when the door to the lobby opened he was unconscious, according to documents. He regained consciousness and went to the lobby where he reportedly collapsed again. Hotel workers returned him to his room and allegedly left him by himself.

Newly reported information suggested Payne put a bag over his shoulder and dropped another bag of his belongings from the third floor to the second floor balcony right below. It is believed he was attempting to climb down when he fell to his death, according to TMZ.
The investigation into Payne’s death continues to unfold.
