First appeared on FOX: A group of conservative activists has released a new ad urging Senate Democrats, especially those facing tough re-election races in Republican-leaning states, to support a House bill aimed at preventing foreigners from voting in U.S. elections.
Building America’s Future said in a press release that the ad “urges Americans to urge Senate Democrats to pass Bill 192 and stop illegal immigrants from voting in U.S. elections.”
“HR 192, introduced in the House of Representatives in May, would repeal a law that would allow non-Citizens of Washington, D.C., to vote in elections,” the press release stated.

“They are killing Americans,” the ad says, before showing a photo of illegal immigrant Jose Ibarra. Allegedly murdered Laken Riley, a nursing student from Georgia, earlier this year.
“They are targeting our military,” the ad continues. Recently Arrested after attempting to break into a Marine Corps base in Virginia.

“And now Democrats are trying to give illegal immigrants the right to vote in our elections. But Speaker Johnson and Republicans in the House are standing their ground and protecting our democracy. They are passing common sense legislation to protect our elections from illegal immigrants,” the ad says.
“Voting is our right as Americans. Tell that to Senate Democrats: pass HR 192 and keep illegal immigrants out of the polls.”

The ad ends with photos of Sens. Jon Tester of Montana and Sherrod Brown of Ohio, both Democratic senators facing tough reelection battles in states Republicans are hoping to flip to retake control of the Senate.
Fox News Digital reached out to Sen. Chuck Schumer, the Democratic senator who appears in the ad with Tester and Brown, but did not receive a response.
American Future has previously run ads attacking Democrats on immigration, including one before and after the president’s State of the Union address earlier this year blaming President Biden for Riley’s murder.
