TikTok star Alice Ardelian is set to make a surprise debut at the UFC on July 27 in Manchester, England.
The Romanian-born fighter was brought up to the big show after her planned appearance on UFC president Dana White’s Contender Series showcase was cancelled, and she will now face Irish strawweight fighter Shauna Bannon at UFC 304, much to the disappointment of many fans.

In a recent interview, Ardelean justified his sexual content by saying it was just a job to earn a living so he could train in mixed martial arts.
“Really, the only reason I was doing OnlyFans was to pay for my daily workouts, my nutritionist, and my gym equipment,” she said. Talk Sports.
The influencer said that when she first started putting out explicit videos, she didn’t get a very good reaction from fighters at her gym and the fighters’ wives.
“When I first started on OnlyFans I used to go to the gym to work out and I got a lot of hateful looks,” she says. “I even got some messages from men at the gym to their wives, saying things like, ‘You’re such a total jerk,’ and they were abusive and telling their husbands not to sign up.”
The 32-year-old said she has received “hate” and called those who disagree with her “embarrassing.”
“I was just focusing on myself and there was hate. Some of the hate was nasty, women at the gym were complaining about me,” Ardelean continued. “It was just embarrassing. I was like, ‘Shut up, I’m not here to steal your man. This is my business, I’m not messing with your business. It’s not my fault if your husband was on my OnlyFans or not.'”
In response, Sean Bitter of MMA outlet Cageside said: Said Signing Alderian was an “embarrassment” for UFC.
“UFC’s signing of Alice Ardelean is an embarrassment to the organization,” Bittar wrote. “Probably the worst contract in history. No joke.”
“Ardelean is not a fighter, she’s a TikTok star. Ardelean’s record is 9-7, which is terrible. She has won her last 5 fights, but against who? It’s a shame the best promotion in the world doesn’t care about the “best in the world” talent.”
Bitter may have mistyped the Alderian record, but it was in fact 9-5But he was right to say that her five straight wins have come against relatively unknown fighters in lesser-known martial arts organizations: Her most famous opponent was current UFC strawweight champion Weili Zhang, who won in 2016 and was the last to defeat the Romanian boxer.
