Opening odds for Bills vs. Chiefs AFC Championship Game in 2025 NFL playoffs

The 2025 AFC Championship Game has been decided. The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, January 26th, with kickoff set for 6:30pm ET. The Chiefs opened the season as favorites by 1.5 points. FanDuel Sportsbook A hypothetical line before the Bills/Ravens win over the Bills/Ravens in the divisional round. The total started at -110.

The Chiefs defeated the fourth-seeded Texans 23-14 in the divisional round to advance to their seventh consecutive AFC Championship appearance. Kansas City has advanced to the conference championship game every season, with Patrick Mahomes serving as the starting quarterback. They have advanced to the Super Bowl in four of those games, bringing home three Lombardi players. They have won the last two Super Bowls and are looking to become the first team in the Super Bowl era to win three straight.

The Bills are one of 12 NFL teams to have never hoisted the Lombardi Trophy, and will be hoping for a different result against the Chiefs than in recent matchups. The 2021 AFC Championship, 2022 Divisional Round, and 2024 Divisional Round matchups all resulted in the Bills being eliminated from the postseason.

This will be the fourth playoff matchup between these teams since 2020, and once again the spotlight will be on the quarterback battle between Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, two of the best in the NFL. The Chiefs are hosting, and our friends at FanDuel are giving the Chiefs a slight edge, but we'll see if that works next Sunday.
