Openly Declaring It: Billionaire Announces He's Finished with the Democratic Party and Expels Swalwell from His Home

Klubeck Cuts Ties with Swalwell, Leaves Democratic Party

Stephen Klubeck, a billionaire known for his left-leaning views, made headlines recently by stating that he has removed former Democratic Congressman Eric Swalwell from his residence. He also announced his departure from the Democratic Party, a decision influenced by ongoing allegations of sexual misconduct against Swalwell.

According to a report from The New York Post, Klubeck severed ties with Swalwell shortly before Swalwell declared his suspension of the gubernatorial campaign in California and just one day prior to his resignation from the House of Representatives.

“I no longer support Eric,” Klubeck mentioned in an interview. “Forget it, I’m a Libertarian now. I can’t stand the Democrats anymore.”

He also disclosed that he had invested over $1 million in Swalwell’s political endeavors and will consult a lawyer regarding the recovery of those funds.

Swalwell, meanwhile, defended himself against the allegations during a video released from Klubeck’s mansion in Beverly Hills, where he had been staying. In the video, he claimed that the accusations are “absolutely false” and admitted to having made some “errors in judgment” previously, all while soliciting continued support from voters.

Klubeck expressed a mix of emotions, laughing about his generosity and speaking fondly of his mansion, which he described as a dream home. Just a week earlier, he referred to Swalwell as a “little brother” and alluded to the troubling rumors surrounding Swalwell’s behavior.

“I’m not sure where this will lead. There’s a lot swirling around,” Klubeck said, suggesting that a thorough investigation is warranted to determine Swalwell’s honesty.

Having been a Democrat for over 40 years, Klubeck has now firmly stated his need for change, declaring, “It’s over, Finito.” His departure reflects a growing discontent with the party he once supported.
