OPM denies federal government website shutdown reports: 'False rumors'

The Human Resources Management Bureau (OPM) said that it did not issue orders to close the government website. This stated that the institution has confused the new Trump administration policy, which demands cleaning diversity on the site, and does not issue orders to close the government's website.

OPM stated that he was not going to delete all agencies websites and called the report “wrong rumors.”

The census website seemed to be on Friday evening, but some other major agencies were still in operation.

President Trump said he did not know the plan so that the government's website could potentially shut down, so that information about diversity, fairness, and inclusion (DEI) program could be scrabbed.

“I don't know. I can't hear it like a bad idea. Day had ruined our country,” said the President on Friday. “If they want to scrub the website, it's okay for me.”

CBS News reported On Friday, a memo taking measures to scrub the agency's website was “accidentally interpreted.”
