Oprah’s ‘Christianity’ exposed: A spiritual virus deceiving millions

Depending on who you ask, Oprah Winfrey is a beacon of wisdom or the most persuasive snake oil salesman of our time.

When you hear the name “Oprah,” you may think of various versions of her. Do you draw Oprah? With the author A philanthropist, an inspirational woman who overcomes difficulties and helps countless people? or probably Who captivated the audience over the decades and talk show host?

This blasphemy is nothing new. This is the oldest deception of humanity.

Maybe you Think about Oprah actress Or become familiar with it Businessman. perhaps All these aspects I'll blend together In your mind, form a deep sense of praise for her. Despite her, for others Good work, That might be the opposite. Maybe you Look at political activists who have compromised her principles in pursuit of social justice and identity politics. but you Perceive she, that The perspective shapes how she interprets her overall personality.

But I believe that her critical aspects stand out more than the rest, and ultimately shape them all: Oprah, Spiritual Guru.

Oprah say“I am a Christian too.” Millions of people, including many Christians, respect her as a spiritual authority. She quotes the Bible, talks about the God of Love, and says that she believes in Jesus and the gospel and follows. However, Oprah also fundamentally denies the core Christian doctrine, which causes Christians around the world to scath their heads in deep confusion.

This is comparable to those who call themselves vegan, but go to town with an extra greasy BLT with a side of beef stew for dinner every night. How is this possible?

Because in Oprah's spirituality, Jesus' identity, the role of the Bible, the gospel, and even the truth have been redefined..

Jesus?

Oprah says she believes in Jesus, However, her “Jesus” did not die on the cross for the sins of mankind.

she say“I thought Jesus came and died on the cross. [But] It was really about showing us how he does it, how it will be. Show us the consciousness of Christ. “Oprah Jesus showed us our God's potential in Christ's consciousness: the sacred spark within us all.

To Oprah, Jesus is the son of God, but this is not a unique title that applies only to him. You are Christ, and I am Christ just as Jesus. The key is not a sinner who needs forgiveness from the holy God, but to see how powerful and good you are.

In biblical historical Christianity, Jesus is completely God, fully human, and God's unique Christ and Son (John 1:1-14; John 3:16). He came to earth to die for our sins and to provide salvation to us through his death and resurrection. It is the foundation of the Christian faith (Corinthians 15:1-8).

Bible? truth?

Oprah says she believes in the Bible and reads it; But for her, the Bible is not God's exclusive words.

She agrees that “The God of the Bible is the God of the “starter kit.” “For her, a more spiritually evolved Christian position is that the Bible stands up for interpretation according to the beliefs of your heart. you I'll rely on you “The inner voice of God.” There are several truths in the Bible, but it is not the only source of spiritual truth. God speaks to us individually from within. She openly demonstrates this with the support of many of the progressive and new age leaders.

For Oprah, everything read in the Bible is read through a lens full of feelings of love. Of course, “love” is subjectively defined. She sums this up in an interview with Marianne Williamson When she says it “We are walking in the direction of love and fear.”

Historical Bible Christians view the Bible as an authoritative, inexplicable word inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16). It is the source that contains the most reliable documents about who Jesus is, what he taught and what he did. Understanding God's will and human purpose is central to this. We assert our claims about Jesus and God against the Bible, in order to see what is consistent with the way God chose to reveal himself (1 Thessalonians 2:13; 1 John 4:1). Furthermore, Jesus calls himself the “truth” and Satan calls the “father of lies” (John 14:6; John 8:44).

When a lie appears to be “love” and the truth appears to be “hate”, it is possible that Satan is behind it.

gospel?

Oprah says he will follow the gospel, But Oprah's gospel is a mixture of self-development, inner divinity, and the idea that thought shapes reality.

For Oprah, Jesus is not the only way to salvation. She encourages you to live your best life, believing that there are many paths to God, emphasizing service, gratitude, and personal growth. Essentially, it is a gospel based on works preached in a fluffy language.

In Oprah's view of God and the gospel, we are not separated from God. Oprah's Gospel Core We have never left God and we recognize that God (or “it”) is in each and every one of us.

In historical biblical Christianity, the gospel is a message of salvation through Jesus Christ. All humans have sinned and are not at the perfect standard of God. Sin leads to death and separation from God (Romans 3:23). Old Testament laws showed that sin requires a sin through sacrifice, referring to the ultimate sacrifice, the death of Jesus on the cross.

Jesus fulfilled the law by offering himself as a perfect sacrifice, receiving punishment for sin, and rising to conquer death from death (Romans 4:25). His resurrection proves his victory and offers eternal life to all who believe in him. The gospel is received not by works but by faith, and guarantees salvation, reconciliation with God, and eternal home in heaven (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16).

Rejecting the gospel means staying under reproach, but through Christ there is no reproach for those who believe (Romans 8:1).

Stealth's Oprah's beliefs that ruin the gospel

That's obvious. Oprah can call himself a Christian, believe in Jesus and chase him, spreading the gospel, but that's another Jesus, another gospel.

But I think there's a deeper problem here. What shapes Oprah's spirituality? Where did her opinion come from? Many Christians understand that she sounds like a Christian and claim to be alone, but her beliefs are nothing. Some may think this is because Oprah is actually a new ager.

She's not.

Even her I will deny it firmly Being a new age. And I agree with her.

This is because she is actually a believer in a much more influential belief system than she really perceives. It's a new way of thinking. In fact, her most basic spiritual formation It happened From reading new thinking materials.

New ideas are far more deceptive than in the new era, as they sound Christians. It is metaphysical Christianity, a more enlightened version of “better” Christianity. But it is actually a stealth spiritual virus. As we briefly see above in some of Oprah's beliefs, new thinking redefines the doctrine of Core Christianity, but uses the same terminology. The Bible has deeper and more esoteric meanings, explaining the redefinement of these Christian terms.

This is precisely why Oprah identifies himself as a “Christian” who “stomps Jesus and spreads the gospel.” But that's another Jesus she follows, another gospel she's spreading.

And this is how her new thinking beliefs are ruining the gospel. Her influence has led millions to accept and spread this new version of Jesus, turning it into a widespread spiritual deception.

I will not deny that Oprah has done many honorable things, but many may consider her a “good person,” but her “good” is not the norm for being made right with God. Your good work is not enough to save you. It's just the work of Jesus. No one is “good.” God is the only good. The standard is not just “your best” but perfect. Perfection is an unattainable standard that no one can reach, so Jesus is necessary.

But Oprah's new Gospel of Thinking tells you that you are already perfect, perfect, perfect, and righteous with God. You need to make it happen As a god.

This blasphemy is nothing new. This is the oldest deception of humanity, and humanity could become like God.

Oprah's distorted new thought gospel raises humanity and puts down God. It creates the illusion that you are good and you do not need a Savior. But this was the Pharisees' way of thinking, and they thought that their good works were enough to be made with God. Jesus rebuked them for their self-righteousness, hypocrisy and pride. This is why Jesus saved his harshest words for them. Not because they were religion, but because they refused to come to him for salvation.

The True Gospel humbles us before the Holy God, and Oprah's gospel praises humanity in his place – not salvation, but rather old deceptions like Eden.
