Clark County commissioners on Tuesday unanimously approved an ordinance that would prohibit individuals from stopping, standing or any activity that would stop others near the Strip's pedestrian bridges and escalators, elevators and stairs connected to the bridges. It was approved.

This measure aims to improve public safety by ensuring a continuous flow of pedestrian traffic across the bridge.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that anyone stopped in what is now called a “pedestrian lane” could be charged with a misdemeanor. This includes up to 20 feet around the bridge and any connected stairs or escalators.
