Jackson Holiday has officially joined Major League Baseball!
of rising star infielder Baseball’s No. 1 prospect has been called up by the Baltimore Orioles after a rough start to the Triple-A season, according to a report Tuesday night. ESPN. Holiday, 20, is the No. 1 pick in the 2022 MLB Draft. Holiday showed flashes of brilliance in spring training in 2024, but was ultimately sent to the minor leagues to play for the Norfolk Tides. However, Holiday lasted only 10 games before being called up for the show, hitting .333/.482/.595 with two home runs, nine RBIs, five doubles, and 12 walks.
Holiday is expected to join Baltimore when they face the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park on Wednesday. The Orioles are currently 6-4 on the season.
