Dodgers Triumph Over Phillies in Nail-Biting Game 4

The Los Angeles Dodgers triumphed over the Philadelphia Phillies in a thrilling Game 4 of the National League Division Series, driving the match into 11 innings on Thursday night.

In a tense moment at the bottom of the 11th, with two outs and the bases loaded, outfielder Andy Pages stepped up to bat against Phillies relief pitcher Orion Kirkeling. Pages hit a bouncing ground ball that Kirkeling struggled to field. In the rush to make the throw to catcher JT Realmuto, Kirkeling overshot, allowing Hyesung Kim to score the winning run.

The score stood at 2-1 in favor of the Dodgers, reinforcing their quest to defend their World Series title.

Meanwhile, after the game, Phillies players were seen offering comfort to Kirkeling as he sat in disbelief, taking in the loss.

Philadelphia had taken an early lead in the seventh inning when Nick Castellanos managed to double into the left field, bringing home Max Kepler. They relied heavily on their bullpen to try and extend their postseason hopes.

Dodgers pitcher Aki Sasaki made a significant impact, delivering a stellar performance with three scoreless innings and two strikeouts on just 36 pitches.

Ultimately, it was a well-rounded effort from the Dodgers that led them to this hard-fought victory, allowing them to advance past the Phillies in the series.
