Ouattara’s last-gasp equaliser earns Bournemouth point at Fulham | Premier League

Bournemouth drew 2-2 with Fulham at Craven Cottage, snatching a point with Dango Ouattara's equalizer in the 89th minute.

Raul Jimenez scored his sixth Premier League goal of the season, and Evanilson equalized early in the second half with a goal. Ouattara came off the bench after Harry Wilson scored his second goal of the match, forcing a stalemate in the closing minutes.

The draw extends both clubs' unbeaten run to seven games as Andoni Iraola and Marco Silva's side continue their bid for European football.

After a tense opening game in which Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno thwarted Ryan Christie's attack, Fulham continued their recent form with explosive Anthony Robinson improving their game.

The left-back was placed further up the field in possession and the Cottage reaped the benefits. A great one-two in their own half created space for Robinson to run up field, his sprint leading to a pass to Wilson and a shot straight at the keeper.

Bournemouth enjoyed a physical battle and their aerial superiority was rewarded when James Hill nodded home past Leno for a corner kick. However, a questionable foul on Joachim Andersen drew the referee's whistle and Fulham were called off.

Set-pieces were the theme, with Fulham converting their own shots to score. Andreas Pereira took a corner kick and Jiménez, who was in a good position, took advantage of the pace of the ball and curled his shot into the bottom left corner.

Fulham ended the first half strong with Alex Iwobi's long-range shot, but he missed the top corner.

After the break, Bournemouth went out of the blocks with Evanilsson equalizing in the 51st minute. Hill's cute curved pass led the striker in behind and he showed great composure to deny Andersen before firing into the roof of the net from close range.

The contest started to get heated. Visiting keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga quickly dropped down to deny Jimenez's header from six yards out, before the Cherries dropped to the other side with Leno denying Evanilsson.

Following his goal in Fulham's 2-1 win over local rivals Chelsea on Boxing Day, Wilson led the team in scoring in back-to-back games. Robinson, who was at the center of the action, received the ball on the left, faked the first cross, and lifted it with his weak right foot. Wilson surged in front of his opponent, giving Arrizabalaga no chance.

Iraola returned to the bench and after Bournemouth's pressing forced a turnover, Ouattara held his own and produced a deft chip that he finished past Leno.
