Wow! It’s going to be great fun playing with Cam Ward (Miami QB)! (No Diddy)
We’re all staying up to date on new college football video games as we patiently wait for them to be released. Some of these developments were great, while others were a little unsettling. Here’s another development. And this falls into the great category.
It’s the fact that “College Football 25” features a lot of real student-athletes.
first time 11 years, EA Sports plans to offer college football games, but they are expected to drop sometime in July. Word on the street is that July 19th will be the date, but EA Sports themselves haven’t confirmed the release date, so it’s just a rumor at this point. (Related: Omarion Cooper hilariously transferred to Florida State after just one season with Deion Sanders & Co.)
One of the biggest conversations about the game was player opt-in and how many would actually opt-in. Well, it looks like we have an update, folks.
Matt Brown of Extra Point is the top reporter covering “College Football 25,” but he gives some insight into the players who will be in attendance Thursday, and the number of true student-athletes in attendance will increase. He said it would be. He has over 12,800 games played, up from 10,000 previously.
yes no arch manning (Texas QB) but it looks like we got everyone else, which is pretty cool!
Just in case this is of interest to you TL, word on the street is that the final number of “opt-in” athletes for EA CFB 25 is over “12,800”…which is clearly That’s far more than the total number of roster spots.
People don’t have to worry about athletes not competing.
