Over 2 Pounds of Fentanyl Wash Ashore Florida’s Daytona Beach

More than two pounds of fentanyl was seized by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents after it washed up on the shores of Daytona Beach, Florida, authorities said Thursday.

An unsuspecting beachgoer discovered the drugs and called police, Andrew Scharnweber of CBP's Miami division said in a statement on Wednesday.
