Washington DC (WKBN) – Approximately 35,430 pounds of Johnsonville turkey kielbasa sausage has been recalled, according to the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
This sausage may be contaminated with foreign objects such as rubber particles and was manufactured by Salm Partners, LLC in Denmark, Wisconsin.
12 oz vacuum packed package contains 1 “Johnsonville POLISH KIELBASA TURKEY” according to the label. The best before dates for sausages are May 17, 2024 and May 18, 2024. The recalled products also have the business number “P-32009” written on the side of the package.

The issue was first identified by a consumer who complained about the rubber bits in the product. There have been no reports of consumers suffering side effects or injuries due to foreign substances.
The agency recommends that the sausages be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
