Overdue: Cardless Drops One Card Per Lifetime Rule – One Mile at a Time

Fintech company Cardless issues several travel-related credit cards in the US, including Vianka, Ratham, Qatar Airways and others. Historically, publishers had one policy that was particularly frustrating when it came to approving people, but that has now been removed. Traveling at points.

Cardless allows consumers to acquire multiple cards

Historically, the cardless “policy” is that consumers may be approved for one cardless product per lifetime. Of course, you can understand that you want to encourage profitable behavior (all card issuers have application limitations), but that seemed a bit extreme. Because there is a good reason why people want to apply (and maintain) multiple cards from the issuer.

As Mark Ostermann shares, that rule is now deprecated. So, consumers can get multiple cards from cardless and have data points to confirm that. Cardless representatives shredded new rules for issuers.

Specifically, in situations where you can only get a specific card once and have multiple options, you can only pick one product per “card family.” Furthermore, you can only apply for a cardless product after more than 60 days have passed since your last cardless approval and 45 days after your last cardless denial. These rules seem fair, but this policy change appears to have been postponed for a long time.

In some contexts, for those unfamiliar, Fintech company Cardless does creative things in its credit card space. What makes Cardless unique is how quickly you launch a new card. Cardless may not be economically viable for one of the “large” players as it reduces startup costs, is faster and lower startup costs than other publishers.

Cardless has reduced application limits

There are some persuasive cardless products!

Given the “once in a lifetime” nature of picking up a card with the issuer, I generally hesitated to apply for a Cardeless card. However, with the restrictions no longer present, I think it's time to pick up some of these cards.

For example, the Premium Cardless Qatar Airways Card not only offers great bonuses, but also offers one year of privileged club gold status, resulting in OneWorld Sapphire status, including flagship lounge lounge access to the domestic American itinerary. If you ask me it's very convincing.

Get lounge access with Qatar Airways status

In addition to the welcoming offer, the premium cardless Aviana card is worth it from the perspective of LifeMiles+ Lite membership, as well as the LifeMiles+ Lite membership, which offers perks like changes to LifeMiles Awards and re-deposits.

Conclusion

Cardless no longer restricts consumers from picking up a single card from the issuer. It is now possible to obtain one product per “Card Family.” I think this is a major improvement. So, if you were considering picking up a product without a card, but that rule prevented you from doing so, it might now be worth a different perspective.

With this rule change, is OMAAT readers planning to pick up more cardless products?
