The second season of own manhattan has kicked off, and the tensions among SERHANT’s agents remain just as captivating as the high-stakes deals they navigate.

Chloe Tucker Kane, who became a standout during Season 1, found herself at the heart of the drama, especially concerning her friendship with Jade Schenker. Their bond started to fray last season when Schenker disclosed her husband’s infidelity. Rather than console her, Tucker Kane questioned why Schenker had kept this situation under wraps.

As Season 2 unfolds, the two women are still not in contact, despite having reconciled at the end of the previous season. Schenker mentioned she noticed her ex-spouse in Tucker Kane’s social media feeds, asserting she supported him during the divorce. Still, Tucker Kane was frustrated that Schenker didn’t reach out after she had given birth.

In response to Schenker’s claims of siding with her ex, Tucker Kane told DECIDER that there are doubts about whether Schenker is creating a fabricated story for the show. “I believe we all felt uncertain,” she expressed. “It was unclear whether her husband actually cheated or if this was just a storyline. There was definitely a lot of confusion surrounding it. I couldn’t back her at that point.”

Tucker Kane emphasized that Schenker had been aware of the affair eight months before filming started, noting, “She sat on that information for eight months just to reveal it on camera. It felt a bit unsettling.”

Tricia Lee, who joined Tucker Kane at DECIDER’s studio, remarked that her reactions echoed the thoughts of others at SERHANT. “Most people on the show wouldn’t have cared if Jade made that story up, including Chloe and myself,” Lee stated.

Tucker Kane acknowledged she realized her misjudgment after the show premiered in August 2024, but soon began addressing Schenker again when she felt Schenker had misrepresented things in an article. “I had my doubts, and I speculated that there were fabrications,” she said.

“It was a confusing time,” Tucker Kane reflected. “But I’ve come to accept Jade for who she is. That’s just who she is.”

By the end of Season 2, Tucker Kane and Schenker have rekindled their friendship. Their long-overdue conversation occurred when a tearful Tucker Kane visited Schenker after leaving her sick dog at the veterinary hospital.

“Standing there, I felt lost and distressed. I just needed to talk to my best friend,” she remembered. “I reached out to the producer and said, ‘I need to speak to Jade. I’m heading to her place.’ I had to find her address since we hadn’t been close for a while.”

“Ultimately, I care for Jade. I would do anything for her,” Tucker Kane expressed. “There are things I’ve said that I regret.”
