“Where to buy cheap Viagra” is what pops up for people searching the internet for the town of Oyster Bay.
The visitors were delighted by the fuss.
“I know oysters are an aphrodisiac but this is gross,” one Reddit user commented.
“This is the only cheap thing in Oyster Bay,” joked another.
“Tax money is being spent guys,” another person commented.
A town spokesperson told The Post the website’s domain provider. FlywheelIt was the company’s website that was hacked, not Oyster Bay’s website, which was back up and running on Monday.
“It’s not an internal issue. [our security]” Oyster Bay spokesman Brian Nevin said.
“There was no intrusion into our systems, servers or sites,” Nevin added.
Flywheel did not respond to repeated requests for comment from The Washington Post.
