Packers’ Jordan Love helps woman with car during blizzard

Packers quarterback Jordan Love went out of his way to help a local woman struggling with the winter weather.

Lucy Kurowski, a 20-year-old Wisconsin native and student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, was leaving a hair salon appointment in her hometown of De Pere on Friday when Blizzard Bennett's blizzard hit the area. noticed that his car was stuck in the snow.

As Kurowski was trying to free her car, she noticed a man who appeared to be a Packers player wearing Nike gear walking by her.

“We did two takes, and then we did three takes,” she told local media.

They made eye contact, but she “didn't want to bother him.”

Luckily for her, the player (who eventually became Love) initially drove away before turning back.

“He gets out of the car and he's like, 'Are you OK?'” Kurowski said. “And I was like, 'Are you Jordan Love?!'” I was fangirling. ”

Love offers to help Kurowski push the car out of the snow, but their efforts are unsuccessful.

The two agreed to take a selfie, and Kurowski told Fox that Love was sweet and down-to-earth throughout the process.

“I couldn't believe it. It was unreal. I was in a state of shock,” she said.

Love's message of help went viral after Kurowski's family, including her aunt Allie Kurowski, posted photos of her and Love on social media.

“It's exploded and I think everyone really understands that he's not only an MVP on the field, but just a great, great person,” Kurowski said. “He’s a great representation of what Green Bay is about.”

Love, 25, is in his third season with the Packers and his first as a starter as Green Bay (9-8) is scheduled to play the Cowboys in the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs on Sunday.

He threw for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions, helping the Packers earn a wild-card berth in the postseason.
