NFL players will do whatever it takes to win games during the season, but there's one thing Green Bay Packers quarterback Malik Willis won't do, and he made that clear on Sunday.
Willis started in place of an injured Jordan Love against the Indianapolis Colts and completed 12 of 14 passes for 122 yards and his first career passing touchdown, and also ran six times for 41 yards.

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur noted that there was one time in the first half when Willis could have thrown the ball, but there was a good reason he ran with it: Packers center Josh Myers vomited on the ball.
“I asked Malik why he didn't throw the ball on third down and he told me it was because Josh spat on it,” LaFleur told reporters. From ESPN“I was like, 'I've never heard of that before.' In fact, an executive came up to me and said, [Hochuli] He came to me and said, 'I saw your center vomit on the ball. Do you want me to put him out next time?' I said, 'Sure, please,' because it was a close call, it was third down, and I'd never thrown vomit on the football. I don't think Malik was too happy about that.”
Myers said he has vomited during games before, most recently in Brazil when the Packers played the Philadelphia Eagles and vomited in the heat of Sao Paulo.

But a win is a win for the Packers, who won the game 16-10.
Willis was a third-round draft pick by the Tennessee Titans in 2022 out of Liberty University. He didn't perform well enough to give the Titans confidence that he was their quarterback of the future, and he ended up losing the starting spot to Will Revis.
He appeared in eight games for 276 passing yards and three interceptions in 2022. He appeared in three games last season and was traded to the Packers before the start of the regular season.
