Tatis posted a photo of himself celebrating the home run on his Instagram Story, adding a dancing peacock emoji underneath it, in what appears to be a subtle reference to Rosenthal's column.
The Padres took another step forward in Game 3 of a fierce series between the National League West rivals.
San Diego chose not to participate in an in-game interview with Rosenthal on FOX Tuesday night. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
The boycott lasted for only one game, and he was scheduled to resume interviews with Fox on Wednesday night in preparation for Game 4.
The Dodgers-Padres series has been filled with controversy, from fans throwing things at Padres players to Dodgers manager Dave Roberts' comments about Machado throwing a ball toward the Los Angeles dugout in Game 2. There were some notable moments that made it particularly testing.
