Paige Bueckers to go No. 1, then what?

Connecticut star Page Bookers is an uncontroversial favorite who can't make it to the Dallas Wings as the No. 1 overall pick in this year's WNBA draft.

The Bueckers will have the opportunity to return to college for another season. However, at age 23, she may decide that it's time to take on a new adventure.

But after Bueckers there are many question marks.

There are some attractive prospects who didn't know what the intentions were for the upcoming season. This will predict who will hear their names being called in the 2025 WNBA draft scheduled for April 14th.

But despite that uncertainty, the post took a crack at how the 2025 WNBA draft unfolds after the Bueckers.

2. Seattle Storm: Olivia Miles, PG, Notre Dame

Jewell Loyd has left and now he has a No. 2 pick and hopes that this draft will bring the storm to look for security guards. Miles quickly rested her concern that she couldn't become a player she wasn't there before her knee injury. In fact, she's better. The biggest improvement in her game is her filming. This season, she has been filming a career-high 41.9% from 3.

3. Chicago Sky: Sonia Citron, SG, Notre Dame

Citron is a key cog in Notre Dame's success this season. She's not the flashiest player, but she's a typical guard of what to do. This season, she averaged 13.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and two steals in 19 games, shooting 44.4% from the field and 35% from the deep.

4. Washington Mystic: Lauren Betts, C, UCLA

Betts is undoubtedly the best true big guy to play college ball since Britney Greener. It remains unclear whether she will declare for this draft. The Mystics currently has Stephanie Dorson at the center, but Betts was able to replace Dorson in the starting lineup.

5. Golden State Valkyrie: Kiki Iliafen, PF, USC

Iriafen is already a strong finisher around the rim and has the ability to quickly become a decent defender as a professional given her active hands and lateral speed. Overall, she has a tremendous advantage and would be a good addition to the expansion team.

6. Washington Mystic: Dominique Malonga, C, Asvel Feminine (France)

Malonga is an appetizing prospect due to her athletic 6-foot-6 build and mobility. She is only 19 years old and has only been able to reach her full potential for a team that is still a good player for a reconstruction mystic-like team.

7. New York Liberty: Shaanne Sellers, PG, Maryland

Liberty is open to trading their first round picks, sources told the Post. However, assuming they hold it for the purposes of this exercise, they can add a depth of guard through the draft. Sellers are obvious choices. She's 6 feet 2,

8. Connecticut Sun: Anesa Moreau, PF, LSU

LSU's transition to the post-Angel lease era was largely seamless for Moreau. She began her career with DePaul, but played the past two seasons at LSU. This season, she posted 21 national double-doubles in 24 games, averaging 18.6 points and 14.2 rebounds.

9. LosAngeles Sparks: Te-Hina Paopao, SG, South Carolina

Paopao is another player who could have an impact as a rookie. She can play on and off the ball. She is a powerful shooter, converting to 37.1% of attempts from Deep this season. Her potential gives her a good prospect for a franchise that appears to be doomed to rebuild.

10. Chicago Sky: Georgia Amoor, Page, Kentucky

Amoor's shooting has declined and flowed this season, but she is a reliable playmaker who looks well on the floor. She benefits from sharing a locker room with Courtney Vandersloot, a 14-year WNBA veteran.

11. Minnesota Links: Azzi Fudd, SG, UConn

FUDD has only been removed from the tears of the ACL for 15 months and missed several games this season due to his knees. But when she's healthy, she is an elite shooter who can irritate her defense. However, it is unclear whether she will declare a draft next season or return to college.

12. Dallas Wings: Asiaha James, SG, North Carolina

James led the NC State to an exciting 4-run final in 2023, averaging 16.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists. As a senior this season, James has improved overall scoring efficiency and put less balls.
