Shortly after Lindsay Hubbard announced her pregnancy, fans were reminded that less than a year earlier, Paige DeSorbo had predicted that her “Summer House” co-star would have a baby.
The scene in question occurred last August when female cast members of the Bravo reality show gathered together after Karl Radke ended his engagement to Hubbard in the season eight finale.
After getting emotional following their dramatic breakup in front of the cameras, DeSorbo, 31, offered some wise words to Hubbard, 37.
“He’s been good to you. He’s been good to you! Let him go. Let him go! In a year you could be married to the love of your life and have babies,” she said.
Daniel Olivera added that Hubbard’s future lover might be “all in” with their relationship.
“Let him go and let somebody else step in. You said, ‘I’m going to stay. I’m going to work on this with you. I’m going to marry you and this is my life,’ and you accepted it as your life. You deserve to be a lot happier than that,” DeSorbo said of Hubbard and Radke’s tumultuous relationship.
Hubbard surprised her Instagram followers on Thursday by announcing that she is pregnant with her first child with a mystery boyfriend.
“Warning: this post contains more fireworks than the 4th of July! We’re pregnant!!!!” she captioned a series of photos of herself cradling her belly and holding a positive pregnancy test.
“I truly believe the universe has a bigger plan and this is it!” the former spokesperson added.
Hubbard also posted a photo of the dad-to-be holding her belly (without showing his face), writing, “My boyfriend and I are so excited to welcome our little #HubbCub during the holidays 2024!!”
The Bravolebrity has remained tight-lipped about her new boyfriend, but previously revealed that the pair began dating in January after going on a few dates in 2020 before she began dating Radke.
“He’s a great guy. I actually met and dated him three and a half years ago,” she told the “Bitch Bible” podcast in May. “Some of my friends call it a boomerang when you go on a first date and it’s not the right timing and then you come back to them. That’s basically what it is.”
Hubbard explained that they “hit it off” at first, but the “timing was bad” for both of them and they split “in a very polite way.”
“At the time, he was like, ‘Listen, I’m not ready for a serious relationship.’ He was like, ‘Maybe you want something more but I’m not there yet and I don’t want to waste your time and out of respect for you I felt I needed to let you know that.’ I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ I couldn’t even be mad,” she said.
Four months after Radke, 39, called off their engagement, the mystery man contacted Hubbard again and she eventually accepted a lunch date, where the two resumed their suspended relationship.
More recently, she took Mr. Radke to a wedding in April (which he also attended) and recently traveled with him to Italy.
However, Hubbard decided not to bring his boyfriend to former co-star Andrea Denver’s wedding last month, which was attended by Radke and many of his co-stars.
