Paige Spiranac has more followers across social media platforms than Tiger Woods.
She is loved by many because she is beautiful and funny, and she also loves to speak out against her haters. But aside from these attributes, this influencer is also a good golfer.
Earlier this year, Spiranac revealed that her love for golf had returned. She’s played plenty since then, and on June 26, she posted her own handicap on X (formerly Twitter) after many people had lost theirs in a week. Swing Video.
Spillan’s handicap currently sits at +3.4, according to the USGA Golf Handicap Information Network (GHIN) app.
Of course, her tweet went viral, with many questioning her jersey number and her disability in general.
So she tweeted her post. Setting the record straight About disabilities.
“1. An A+ handicap is better than scratch,” she wrote.
“2. A handicap of +3 is good, but it’s nowhere near enough to compete with the best players in the world. I don’t think the players realise how good they are, how tough the course is and that they’re doing it under extreme pressure. It’s a whole different game they play.”
This post has generated a ton of questions about disabilities!

She then explained how golf handicaps are calculated, something that confuses many players, and whether professional golfers have handicaps or not.
“3. Calculate your golf handicap by taking the average of your best eight of your last 20 scores,” Spiranac writes.
“That means you can play a pretty bad round and still have a low handicap. Professionals don’t handicaps, but someone once calculated Tiger at +9, which is crazy.”
Of course, her explanatory tweet drew trolls.
One user said she would never break 90 on her home course, but didn’t say anything about the course or other conditions. Spiranac usually avoids trolls, but this time she won.
“I shot at Pine Valley in the ’70s, which is known as one of the most difficult courses,” she replied, “and I haven’t shot in the ’90s since I was 13.”

Talk about a mic drop, but the troll didn’t stop there. He wanted to see her scorecard at Pine Valley.
So Spiranac uploaded her receipts to the Internet, showing her scores on some of the most difficult courses in the country.
74 at Pine Valley is incredible, 75 at Oakmont, site of next year’s U.S. Open, is also incredible.
The 31-year-old could have simply removed Pine Valley’s score, but her inclusion of Oakmont, Valhalla and Crooked Stick proved to be the clincher.
Spiranac defeated the troll and reminded the public that despite her appearance, she is still a great golfer.
