Paige Spiranac Shines at “Happy Gilmore 2” Premiere

On Monday, Paige Spiranac surprised everyone at the New York premiere of “Happy Gilmore 2.” When she stepped onto the green carpet, her stunning red dress, which featured a sleek skirt, grabbed all the attention.

The 32-year-old, known for her golf influence, has a cameo in this much-anticipated Netflix sequel to the original 1996 comedy. She mingled with stars like Adam Sandler, Julie Bowen, and Christopher McDonald at the glitzy event held at Lincoln Center.

Also present at the premiere were newly crowned British Open Champion Scotty Scheffler, along with his wife Meredith and Clarett Jagg.

Landing a role in “Happy Gilmore 2” was a big deal for Spiranac. She admitted that when the teaser trailer was released back in March, the thought of being on screen with Sandler’s beloved character was, well, a bit daunting.

“The fact that I’m in a Happy Gilmore 2 movie is actually insane,” she shared on X during that time.

In her scene, which had a brief glimpse in the teaser, Spiranac plays an employee at Dick’s Sports Goods. She finds herself helping Happy when an accident causes a significant slice in a golf simulator, leaving a bewildered customer looking on.

Her role adds to an already impressive lineup, featuring other notable figures like Bryson DeChambeau, Lori McIlroy, musician Bad Bunny, and NFL star Travis Kelce.

Sandler, now 58, commented on his co-stars, saying he was genuinely amazed by their performances. “Travis and Bunny are ridiculous,” he mentioned, emphasizing that “all athletes kick butt.”

The release of “Happy Gilmore 2” on Netflix is set for this Friday.
