In a recent profile published on December 9, Pamela Anderson discussed her brief romance with Liam Neeson, touching on the rumors suggesting it might have been fabricated.

“Just so you know, Liam and I were in a relationship for a short period, but that was after we finished filming,” the 58-year-old actress shared, mentioning they spent an “intimate week” at his home in upstate New York.

During that time, she had her own room, her assistant came by, and her family even visited, she noted.

Anderson described the week as a “lost week,” recalling a particularly memorable moment when Neeson chased a bear out of the breakfast window while still in his robe.

Anderson and Neeson, who is 73, starred together in the 2025 reboot of *The Naked Gun*.

Speculation about their relationship began when they promoted the film in August. Doug Mund, a co-writer for *Naked Gun*, mentioned to *The Hollywood Reporter* that he was receiving numerous inquiries about their connection.

“All I can say is what I know, which is that on set, from the beginning, we had instant chemistry,” Mund commented. “They liked each other. It’s the kind of bond you only dream about between co-stars.”

Neeson added to the ongoing rumors when he admitted to being “madly in love” with Anderson during a fall interview with *People* magazine.

At the film’s premiere, Anderson shared a kiss on the cheek with Neeson and posed for photos with both of her sons—Brandon, 29, and Dylan, 27—from her marriage to Tommy Lee. Neeson has Michael, 30, and Daniel, 29, from his late wife, Natasha Richardson.

When questioned on the “Today” show about whether they were an item, Anderson initially seemed puzzled: “I don’t understand the question,” she replied. The ambiguity around their relationship sparked discussions about whether it was merely a publicity stunt, but Anderson refuted this claim in her recent interview.

She mentioned that they had dinner at a small French restaurant where he introduced her as “the future Mrs. Neeson.” She also spent time tending to his garden, specifically enjoying the rose bushes.

After their week together, they parted ways to focus on other projects, but later reunited during the summer to promote *The Naked Gun*.

“We had fun,” Anderson said, likening their connection to a scene from a Nancy Meyers movie.

She expressed her amusement at people thinking it was just for publicity. “I love Liam, but to be honest, we’re better friends,” the actress reflected. “He has been incredibly supportive of this new chapter in my career and has expressed pride in my accomplishments. We’ll always be part of each other’s lives.”
