FBI Continues Reviewing Epstein Child Pornography Evidence
Attorney General Pam Bondy addressed reporters on Wednesday, stating that the FBI is still going through “tens of thousands” of child pornographic videos linked to Jeffrey Epstein.
Epstein died by suicide while awaiting trial on sexual charges in 2019. Bondy faced questions regarding the delays in releasing documents related to Epstein after announcing a press conference. “The FBI is reviewing… there are tens of thousands of videos involving children and child pornography connected to Epstein. There are hundreds of victims, and none have been named so far. The FBI is diligently working on this… I’ll reach out later,” she said.
Epstein had previously pleaded guilty to sexual charges in 2008 and maintained extensive relationships with numerous celebrities, politicians, and executives even after his conviction. Notable associates included L Brands founder Lex Wexner, director Woody Allen, and Prince Andrew.
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, along with employees from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, met with Epstein multiple times. Gates met Epstein again in 2019 despite his then-wife Melinda’s concerns.
During a White House event on April 22, Daily Callers questioned President Donald Trump about the postponement in document release. Trump responded, “I don’t know; I’ll inform the Attorney General about it. I really don’t have the details,” referencing other investigations in a rather vague manner.
Bondi had released the first set of files concerning Epstein on February 27.
