Pamela Anderson Reflects on Brief Romance with Liam Neeson

Pamela Anderson recently opened up about her short-lived romance with Liam Neeson in a candid interview. The actress, now 58, shared some personal insights into their connection after working together on “The Naked Gun.”

“Just so you know, Liam and I had a brief relationship, but that was after we finished filming,” she stated, shedding light on their time together. They spent what she described as an “intimate week” at his home in upstate New York, where Neeson once jokingly referred to her as “the future Mrs. Neeson” during a night out.

Anderson explained that despite the initial spark, their paths diverged after that week. They did, however, reconnect this past summer while promoting the film. “We had fun,” she noted, likening their relationship to a romantic comedy, and emphasized her frustration with the idea that their connection was merely a publicity stunt. “We have real feelings,” she insisted.

While she expressed affection for Neeson, she also acknowledged that they might be better off as friends. He has been supportive of her new career developments and she appreciates that. “I am sure we will continue to be in each other’s lives,” she remarked.

Throughout the promotional tour for the film, the two garnered attention for their flirtatious banter and displays of affection. Yet, rumors swirled that their romance was choreographed for marketing. Reports indicated that their team, along with Paramount Pictures, supposedly fabricated their dating rumors to boost ticket sales.

Sources suggested that they hadn’t seen each other since filming wrapped in July 2024 until the press tour. Allegations surfaced that their dinners were strictly business affairs, with assistants present, and a source described those rumors as “ridiculous.” One commentator emphasized, “Everything between them was real. Neither of them wanted to engage in any publicity stunts.”

Anderson recently spoke at the 51st Deauville American Film Festival, where she won the Deauville Talent Award. She took the opportunity to deny the claims of manipulating their romance for publicity. “I do not participate in PR stunts and never will,” she declared. “It’s a death sentence.” She expressed her discomfort with sharing her love life publicly, highlighting her superstitious view on love.

“I’m not in this for money or fame, but to discover my true self and create a legacy my family can be proud of,” she concluded, firmly establishing her dedication to authenticity.
