Another battle has broken out at the NFL’s joint training camp.
The New York Jets headed down to Carolina to practice with the Panthers, and as expected, things quickly went awry.
During practice, several players had to move away from each other, and one of the Jets players came in on the blind side.

Safety DJ Reed picked up the football a few yards away from the scuffle, ran back and smashed the ball into the back of Panthers receiver Terrace Marshall Jr.
According to New York PostMarshall caught the touchdown over Reed’s head, and after Reed fell to the ground following the play, Marshall threw the ball to Reed.
The Jets were clearly not too happy, which led to a skirmish.
The paper also reported that Gang Green defensive lineman Michael Clemons was involved in a separate altercation involving punches.

The brawl was relatively tame compared with other training camp brawls this year. The New York Giants and Detroit Lions were each fined $200,000 this month for numerous brawls.
A joint practice in New Jersey got so violent that both teams had to end practice early, then played each other in the preseason opener.
During a scuffle with teammates, DK Metcalf was seen swinging his helmet at fellow Seattle Seahawks players.
