Panthers’ Sam Franklin Jr restrained from running to Bucs locker room, sends threat to player in video

Carolina Panthers captain Sam Franklin Jr. had to be stopped from running toward the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' locker room after the team's overtime loss to their NFC South rival.

Franklin was particularly unhappy with Bucs linebacker Jose Ramirez, and a video criticizing him has now gone viral on social media.

“Hey, tell 33 guys to look at his a–” Franklin was heard yelling at other Bucks players. “On my grave, boy!”

It's unclear what exactly made Franklin so angry, as Panthers staff had to push him back into the locker room.

But the animosity between these rivals was also visible in another video that showed Bucs veteran wide receiver Sterling Shepard yelling expletives at the Panthers' locker room shortly after Franklin's rant.

Russell Wilson cooks for the Steelers. Is Kirk a cousin on thin ice with a peregrine falcon?

All this happened after a thrilling end to this rivalry showdown that required extra time to find the winner. The Bucs ended up winning 26-23 with a game-winning field goal, but it looked like they were going to win it all when Chase McLaughlin missed a 55-yard shot early in overtime and the Panthers took possession.

However, Tuba Hubbard, who had a breakthrough season at Carolina University and is one of the driving forces of the offense despite a record of 3 wins and 9 losses, fumbled inside Tampa Bay's half, and Yaya Diaby recovered the ball. This caused further rifts in the Bucks. To win the match.

Rathard White made a long run deep into the Panthers' territory, and McLaughlin converted his second chance, this time from 30 yards out, to seal the victory.

With the win, the Bucks are tied for first place in the NFC South with the Atlanta Falcons, who lost to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

The college football world saw plenty of skirmishes and altercations this weekend during rivalry week, but the stakes in each game become even more important as the regular season enters its homestretch.
