Panthers’ Sam Franklin Jr. restrained from rushing toward Bucs locker room

After Tampa Bay fought back to beat Carolina 26-23 in overtime on Sunday, Panthers safety Sam Franklin Jr. had a message for Buccaneers outside linebacker Jose Ramirez.

As seen in a video shot in the back hallway of Bank of America Stadium, Franklin screamed for his number 33 (Ramirez's uniform) and yelled at someone while waiting for the Bucks to leave the field. had to be held back.

“Hey, tell those 33 sluts to look at that guy's ass,” Franklin said, pointing in the direction of several Tampa Bay players running through the tunnel. “On my grave, boy!”

Franklin was eventually taken to the Panthers' locker room.

It is unclear what exactly happened to lead up to the scene.

Moments later, Tampa Bay receiver Sterling Shepard was also seen screaming into the Panthers' locker room. Another video.

It's unclear whether the two moments are related.

The battle between the Panthers and Bucks came to a dramatic end in overtime.

After Buccaneers kicker Chase McLaughlin missed a 55-yard field goal on the first possession of overtime, the Panthers were poised to take the win at the Tampa Bay 34-yard line.

Carolina's chances were then ruined when Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard fumbled and lost the ball to Buccaneers defensive lineman Anthony Nelson.

Bucs linebacker Yaya Diaby recovered it at Tampa Bay's 29, and Rathard White set up a deep run.

McLaughlin made the game-winning 30-yard field goal, securing the victory.

With the win in Week 13, the Bucks moved into a tie for first place with the Falcons (6-6), who lead the NFC South.

The Panthers, who fell to 3-9 on the season, will play the Eagles (10-2) in Philadelphia on Sunday.
