Paramount Deletes MTV News Website and Archives

Last May, the far-left MTV News was just one of many left-wing news outlets that were permanently shut down, lol. A year later, Paramount (the owners of MTV) went a step further and deleted the MTV News website and its archives.

Wow. A bunch of ignorant people who have been writing and publishing shallow left-wing propaganda and sarcasm for the last 20 years. real world Reality TV can be gone forever with the push of a button.

Is this a great country or what?

“Nearly 20 years of content that appeared on MTVNews.com is no longer available as MTV has completely removed the site and related content.” Reports Far Left variety.

“As of Monday” variety Additionally, “visitors attempting to access MTV News articles at mtvnews.com or mtv.com/news will be redirected to the main MTV website.”

“So basically, mtvnews.com no longer exists. Eight years of my life have vanished without a trace.” xweeted “It was all because it didn’t suit the interests of some executives,” said one former MTV news staffer. “It’s infuriating, to say the least.”

A writer for the dishonored Rolling Stone His own Hahaha“This is a disgrace. The entire MTV News archive has been wiped. Decades of pop culture history research material gone. Why?” Added“[O]The old posts don’t even show up in the Wayback Machine. They’ve been completely deleted. It’s really awful.”

The inflated sense of self-importance here is incredible. I’ve been writing online for 20 years now and I wouldn’t mind if it were all deleted. The couple of websites I created back in the Dirty Harry days are probably gone forever. I wasn’t going to pay to keep all my crappy writing alive forever.

What kind of fool would trust a multinational corporation to manage their precious archives? If you want to preserve your work, you’re better off doing it yourself.

But have we really lost something here? MTV News has strayed far from its cool, essential roots back when Kurt Loder delivered his scoops and interviews in a straightforward, professional manner. People are acting as if Paramount flushed the Dead Sea Scrolls down the toilet. Trust me, 21st century pop culture is not lacking in reporting or record-keeping.

Oh, at least be humble enough to admit that in the scheme of things, what we do doesn’t matter. If everyone who does what I do disappeared tomorrow, the world would keep going just fine. Maybe some people would miss me for a while, but soon I’d be that guy who hates CNN.

In two weeks, no one will even remember that post-Kurt Loder MTV news existed.

Hey, if you had learned to code, you might have known how to compile an archive of thousands of posts that are unimportant and that no one will read, not even your mom (who lied and said she read your posts).
