Paris Hilton Reflects on Motherhood and Her New Documentary

Paris Hilton, known for her party girl persona, is already envisioning her children’s teenage years. The hotel heiress is set to release a documentary titled “Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir,” which highlights her life as a mother and her journey to prepare for her upcoming concert at the Hollywood Palladium, following her 2024 album release.

In a conversation with a media outlet, the 44-year-old shared her thoughts about motherhood and the dynamics of raising teenagers. “I think a lot about it, especially since I remember being a teenager myself,” Hilton remarked. Despite her concerns, she feels optimistic about creating a fun environment at home that could deter her kids from sneaking out. “There’s just so much to do here—like a waterslide, movie theater, and more. I hope my home will be the place everyone wants to hang out,” she noted.

Hilton emphasized the importance of open communication with her children, ensuring they feel safe discussing anything with her. “I’ve set up a security system that would alert me if they ever tried to sneak out,” she added with a hint of laughter. She expressed confidence in her ability to keep an eye on things.

The entrepreneur and her husband, Carter Liam, welcomed their son Phoenix in January 2023 and daughter London later that same year. Hilton expressed her parenting philosophy by stating, “I won’t be overly strict, but I will be mindful about everything.”

Reflecting on her own past, Hilton explained how being a part of the nightlife scene in New York City during the ’90s led her parents to send her to various schools for troubled teens, where she experienced significant hardships, including abuse. This past still influences her views on parenting.

After a lengthy journey of self-discovery, Hilton has gained a deeper understanding of her identity and priorities. “Motherhood has shown me how valuable life is. Kids grow up so fast, and it makes me realize that family comes first in my life now.”

She also shared her excitement regarding her two children and what their future holds. “They mean everything to me,” she said. “I just want them to be loving, smart kids, and it’s amazing to see them forming a bond.”

Hilton feels grateful for her supportive husband, describing their relationship as strong and loving. “I never knew a man like him could exist,” she said, reflecting on how he completes her life.

Lastly, she noted that her documentary, which premieres on January 30th, is not just about her career but also a journey towards healing and empowerment. “Telling my story has been so therapeutic,” she concluded, hinting at a more profound self-reflection to come.
