Paris Olympic Official Claims Opening Ceremony Achieved Goal of Showing ‘Community Tolerance’

Despite the strong backlash that continues into its third day, a spokesperson for the Paris Olympic Committee believes the LGBT and drag queen-inspired opening ceremony performance achieved its goal of “community tolerance.”

Annu Dekan, an official at the commission, told reporters on Sunday that the commission’s performance was on target.

“We believe this ambition has been achieved and we sincerely apologise if anyone was offended.”

To sum up the “tolerance” that was embedded in the opening ceremony, one of the opening scenes featured a strongly suggestive bisexual threesome.

Another scene featured a parody of “The Last Supper” featuring drag queens.

Viewers also “enjoyed” a scantily clad, bearded drag queen dancing provocatively on the same table used in the parody “The Last Supper.”

Judging by the physical appearances of some of the performers, this “Dinner” won’t be their last, but given the outrage over the blasphemous performance, it’s likely to be the last time they watch the Olympics.

Outrage over the blasphemous performance also spread to religious communities, with French bishops denouncing the performance as “a mockery and mockery of Christianity” and expressing solidarity with “Christians on all continents who are hurt by this outrage and provocation.”

French politician Marion Maréchal took to social media to tell the world that the blasphemous act did not represent France and was the product of a “left-wing minority.”

“To all Christians around the world who watched the Paris 2024 ceremony and felt insulted by this drag queen parody of the Last Supper, know that it is not France that is speaking, but a left-wing minority ready for any provocation,” she posted on X.

So, “tolerance” was clearly not felt by everyone.
