‘Particularly Egregious’: CNN Commentator Blasts Democrats For ‘Attacks’ On Robert Hur

CNN commentator Scott Jennings on Tuesday criticized Democrats’ repeated “attacks” on Special Counsel Robert Hur.

Xu testified before the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, in which Congressional Democrats described President Joe Biden as an “elderly man with a poor memory” and said they would not prosecute the president criminally for mishandling classified documents. I was forced to make a decision.

“The attack on him was [Democratic Reps.] Hank Johnson and Adam Schiff were particularly bad,” Jennings said. “This person is clearly a public servant. He’s not there for partisan political reasons. To paint him otherwise was insane. “I have not proven my innocence.” This was the main pushback from Democrats after reports emerged that Biden had been exonerated. He put it to bed today. ”

“The records that came to light today show that Biden actually had a lot of memory loss. Hur told the truth about that,” Jennings added.

“He also acknowledged that the White House tried to get the Justice Department to change the report after it was written and after the report came out…and one important thing: Joe Biden reported “He lied at the press conference when the book came out,” Jennings continued. “He said, ‘I guarantee you, I did not divulge any confidential information to the ghostwriter,'” Xu revealed today. [that] They have all these tapes. He told the ghostwriter about its contents. He told him where sensitive information was kept. It is clear that the evidence shows that Biden misled the American public on this issue. ”

CNN’s Van Jones said Republicans could win by creating “parity” between Biden’s handling of classified documents and that of former President Donald Trump, whose front-runner is facing criminal charges. He said he got it. (Related article: Turley says Democrats seemed ‘delusional’ during hearing)

During the hearing, Democratic California Rep. Adam Schiff accused Mr. Hur said he was “deeply biased” and was “naive” to believe his report could not be weaponized against Biden.

Democratic Washington state Rep. Pramila Jayapal repeatedly claimed that Huh’s report “exonerated” Biden, a claim the special counsel denied.

“You proved his innocence,” Jayapal said at the hearing.

“I have not exonerated him,” Mr. Hoare replied. “That word doesn’t appear in the report, Congressman.”

In his report, Mr. He said that this was because he felt there was a high possibility that the government would treat the situation as such. I have bad memory. ”

A copy of the report revealed that Mr. Biden had lied about the details of his meeting with Mr. Xu when he told reporters in a surprise press conference that Mr. Xu had asked him questions about his son’s death. Records show it was the president, not Mr. Hsu, who brought up Beau Biden’s death.
