A Viral Pizza Delivery Incident

An unexpected pizza delivery incident is capturing attention online.

A pastor from Castle Rock, Colorado, named Neil Seiwert, placed an order from Papa John’s for his family over the weekend.

According to Seiwert, the delivery driver, Susannah, arrived with the order, only to realize she had brought the wrong one. “I’m sorry, I’m getting older,” she explained, noting that Seiwert was number 67, while she was mistakenly serving number 57.

“I failed. I’m sorry,” she added with visible concern.

To this, the pastor responded, “Are you feeling okay? We appreciate you, and Jesus loves you. Have a great night.”

Subsequently, Seiwert, along with his wife and their three young daughters, came to the door, placed their hands on Susannah’s shoulders, and offered a prayer for her. “As she was explaining the situation, I really felt God’s love for her and wanted to help ease any anxiety she might be feeling,” Seiwert shared.

He emphasized his belief in acting on feelings of compassion for others, viewing it as an opportunity to shine light and spread love. “I wanted her to feel not just the support of her family but also the love of God,” he remarked.

This touching moment, captured on a Ring camera, was later shared on social media, quickly racking up over 500,000 likes and 5 million views on Instagram.

In his prayer, Seiwert expressed gratitude for the encounter, saying, “We thank you for Susannah and for crossing paths tonight. She is more important than any command tonight. You matter to her, and she matters to us.” He went on to ask for blessings and healing for Susannah.

Afterwards, the Seiwerts managed to find Susannah again and sought her approval to create a GoFundMe to support her needs.

The response has been largely positive, with their initial goal of raising $25,000 for delivery drivers met in under two days. Seiwert noted he was pleasantly surprised by the supportive reactions, as many commented that the story moved them to tears, highlighting a common need for love in today’s world.

Reflecting on the moment, he stated, “These small interactions give us significant opportunities to impact a hurting world.”

One online comment read: “This brought me to tears. God bless that family.”

Looking ahead, the Seiwerts are planning to relocate to Wichita, Kansas later this year to start a church called Harvest House.
