Pat McAfee praises Travis Kelce for handling spotlight well amid relationship with Taylor Swift

Pat McAfee has nothing but praise for how Travis Kelce has handled the spotlight that comes with being Taylor Swift's boyfriend.

“I don't think anyone else could do what you're doing and the way you're doing it is amazing. And know that we're all incredibly proud of the way you're doing it.” 'Just speaking on behalf of all of us,' McAfee added.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is officially under contract with Swift starting in September 2023. The pair were recently seen in Game 1 of the ALCS in the Bronx, during the Chiefs' bye week, between Kelce's Cleveland Guardians and the New York Yankees.

“We've got to keep winning, real quick. If we lose the game, it's going to rain, baby. We've got to keep winning, we've got to keep winning, we've got to stay on top,” Kelsey told the media. He talked about possibilities. A storm is coming for him.

McAfee not only praises Kelce for handling the spotlight well, but also recognizes what his relationship with Kelce brings to the sport of football.

“I think your involvement has brought this sport to a lot of people's attention and a lot of people are into it,” McAfee said.

Many of Swift's fans will attend Chiefs games expecting to see the star singer on the broadcast.

The Chiefs are 5-0, and Kelce has improved over the last two games after getting off to a slow start. The nine-time Pro Bowler has caught 16 passes for 159 yards over the past two games, making strides in the absence of Laci Rice.

The Chiefs will look to remain undefeated when they face the San Francisco 49ers in a rematch of last season's Super Bowl.
