Pat McAfee Show mocks Hulk Hogan getting booed at WWE Raw’s Netflix debut with fake press conference

ESPN's Pat McAfee enjoyed Hulk Hogan's embarrassing moment on Netflix's “Monday Night Raw” in Los Angeles.

The WWE legend made a surprise appearance at the event and was brutally booed by the crowd during his speech.

Hogan, 72, walked out of the Intuit Dome in Inglewood to his signature song “Real American” with his former on-screen manager and close friend Jimmy Hart, as fans' jeers drowned out his words.

McAfee was joined by Michael Cole to provide commentary on the event.

Despite a tough reception, the wrestling icon, who started his career in 1977, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005 and again in 2020 as a member of the nWo. He even took a moment to thank the audience during his speech.

“The fans have been the best tag team partners I've ever had, because you've been with me through the thick and thin,” Hogan said, drowning out boos.

The staff of “The Pat McAfee Show” turned this hilarious scene into its own bit, parodying Hogan's press conference immediately after the Raw moment.

“Hello. Welcome to this press conference I called the day after probably the best day of my professional career,” said the person in the Hogan costume. “Last night, tens, tens, tens of millions of people watched the Hulkster suffer a crushing defeat on WWE RAW and usher in the Netflix era at the Intuit Dome. Best of my life. night.”

Then, a reporter who was present asked him a question about the booing.

“Now, I'll admit I heard a couple of boos here and there in the crowd, but to be honest, I had no idea that people in Los Angeles hated Jimmy Hart this much,” Fake Hogan said. spoke. “They took one look at his stringy hair, his silly sunglasses and his flag-waving half-heartedness, and I should have expected that too.

“Liberal Marks out there can't stand a MAGA champion like the Hulkster! But then again, they weren't booing the Hulkster, they were booing Jimmy Hart. Everybody loves the Hulkster, man!”

It's unclear exactly why Hogan was booed, though. He became a polarizing figure. He was removed from the WWE Hall of Fame from 2015 to 2018 after it was revealed in 2007 that he used a racial slur during a conversation about his daughter Brooke's love life.

The multiple world wrestling champion has also been a vocal and visible supporter of President-elect Donald Trump during the 2024 election.
