Patel claims ex-FBI officials orchestrated the largest deception against Trump in Washington, D.C.

FBI Director Discusses Rebuilding Trust

FBI Director Kash Patel recently emphasized the importance of “waves of transparency” as government agencies work to restore public faith, particularly after years filled with controversies about political bias and selective prosecution.

During an exclusive interview on Sunday Morning Futures with FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, Patel referenced the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails, using it to highlight issues of perceived political bias and institutional failures. He criticized senior officials in the Department of Justice for, as he put it, “hijacking” their constitutional responsibilities by selectively determining which cases to pursue.

“You asked how the FBI was weaponized,” he stated. “The FBI has usurped the Justice Department and the Attorney General’s constitutional obligations. People like James Comey have made decisions on non-prosecution charges. Don’t just take my word for it; look at the videotape from the Hillary Clinton investigation.”

Patel also shared insights regarding the controversial Crossfire Hurricane inquiry into President Donald Trump’s ties to Russia, asserting he is collaborating with Congress to shed light on the matter. He claimed the previous FBI leadership manipulated the FISA process, misleading the American public and withholding crucial documents.

“It’s great to have the chance to address these issues now,” he remarked. “We’re hoping to see increased transparency in the coming weeks.”

In their discussions, Patel and Bongino aimed to address the corruption attributed to past leadership while reaffirming a commitment to homeland security and the public’s trust in the FBI. Patel was particularly harsh on his predecessors, alleging they “deliberately failed the American people” and were involved in what he called the “big DC deception game.”

He posited that the Bureau’s image as a reputable law enforcement agency was tarnished by figures such as Comey and Andrew McCabe, who he accused of using the FBI for political ends and misleading the courts. Patel articulated concerns about potential misuse of taxpayer funds and the withholding of significant evidence.

“This is why the FBI lost its integrity,” he stated, arguing that when caught in wrongdoing, those involved resorted to lies. He expressed hope that, with Congress’s assistance, they could address these issues and hold accountable those involved in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

“Restoring trust among the American public regarding the FBI is our ultimate goal,” Patel concluded.
