‘Pathetic’ GOP Senators Who Voted For Gabbard Are ‘Sick’

MSNBC host Nicole Wallace said on Wednesday that the Republican senator who voted to confirm Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence (DNI) was “sick and 'pathetic'.

Wallace said: “Gabad was confirmed by all 47 Democrats with 52-48 votes, and Mitch McConnell voted against her. Essentially, Russia cheered within an hour of confirmation of Gabad. An ineffective objection against the candidates, Donald Trump announced that he and Vladimir Putin would soon begin negotiations to end the war in Ukraine.

Former Senator Claire McCaskill said, “I can't say how disappointed I am with my Republican, my Republican colleagues that many people know well.”

She said, “Because Donald Trump won in a more convincing way than most people expected, because despite everything he did, he was about his character and integrity. Because I showed it to the American people. Some of the people I mentioned are being voted in states where they could easily be defeated at the primary by Proma Republicans.”

Wallace said, “That's what I was thinking, and it's just pathetic. It's like making your shoes shine on the Titanic deck. Susan Collins says she's going down into the water. So I want to make sure the heels don't get dirty. It's absolutely – I mean, that's why. I wasn't sure, but it's a disease. They're there every six years , Sometimes they do the right thing for the country. I'm sure you're right, but that's a tragedy.”
