Patrick Beverley has always been an inspiration on the basketball court. Due to Beverley’s off-court actions during the 2024 NBA Playoffs, he was suspended for four games through the start of next season.

Beverley will be a free agent this summer. That means whichever team signs him, they will do so with the knowledge that he will miss the first four games of next season.
This is the second time Beverley has been suspended for the season opener. Beverley also received a suspension into the new year for shoving Chris Paul in the back during the 2022 NBA Playoffs.
Beverley apologized to both fans and reporters after the game. Now he will have some time to reflect on his actions.
