Taylor Swift made a big impact by showing up at Arrowhead Stadium and on the road during the playoffs to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce during Kansas City Chiefs games.
As the Kansas City Currents of the National Women’s Soccer League open their 2024 season at CPKC Stadium on Sunday, club co-owner Patrick Mahomes hinted that Swift could come to the new facility to cheer on the team. CPKC Stadium is the first stadium to be home to a women’s professional sports team.

“Maybe someday we’ll get her here. She’s a busy woman and Travis is a busy man,” the Chiefs’ star quarterback told ESPN’s SportsCenter on Saturday, via Bleacher Report.
“So, maybe during the season or something like that, we’ll be taking her out to Kansas City Current games. She loves supporting Kansas City as much as we do. I’m sure Brittany could just nudge her and get her here pretty easily.”
Brittany Mahomes, who also co-owns the Current, has vowed to work on it.
“It’s definitely my responsibility, it’s definitely my responsibility. I’ll work on it, I’ll work on it,” she said.
It is said that watching Swift’s games was the trigger for the surge in viewer ratings for this season’s matches. NFL officials said bringing in new spectators is great for the league.
