Patrick Mahomes turned heel for one night, lending his three Super Bowl rings to help his buddy Logan Paul during a surprise appearance on WWE’s Monday Night Raw.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback made his first public appearance as he arrived in a car with Paul and YouTuber IShowSpeed at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Before the second day of the WWE Draft, they faced World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest and The Judgment Day.
Mahomes is also a spokesperson for Paul’s Prime Drink Line, which is also a WWE sponsor.
Later in the show, Paul, the heel national champion, acquired a second-round draft pick along with Speed.
After doing so, Paul grabbed the microphone and insulted rival Jey Uso enough to drag him out from behind and launch a storyline attack with the help of Finn Balor and J.D. McDonagh from Judgment Day.
While Baylor and McDonough held the Usos, Paul slipped out of the ring and made his way to Mahomes, who was sitting at ringside next to Chiefs offensive linemen Creed Humphrey and Trey Smith.
Mahomes stood up, grinned, snapped off his three Super Bowl rings, and handed them to Paul.
Paul, known for using brass knuckles to win matches, attempted to hit Uso with the ring on, but failed and hit McDonough instead.
Braun Strowman, who had just been drafted to Raw, came out to chase Paul away and eventually walked up to Mahomes, but the lineman quickly grabbed Mahomes before Uso could tell the big man to step back. I protected it.
Stephanie McMahon also made a surprise appearance on the show to announce her first round pick.
This will be her second appearance on WWE television since January last year, when she announced her resignation as CEO after her father, Vince McMahon, returned as executive chairman.
He resigned following allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking by former WWE employee Janelle Grant.
Stephanie McMahon also appeared on the second night of WrestleMania 40, opening the show and welcoming fans to Lincoln Financial Field on April 8th.
